DIY Fridge Face Masks
We could totally use a spa day! One euphoric day filled with hot stone massages, a pedicure with a glass of champagne in hand, and a facial that leaves skin radiant, smooth and brighter than it was before I was stuck in quarantine…Okay. Back to reality. That’s not happening any time soon. These delicious DIY face mask recipes are made quick and easy with ingredients that most of us have in our fridge and pantry! We picked some of the top skin-boosting items to concoct your very own spa-worthy treatments so you can get to relax and beautify while stuck at home!
Tip: To avoid chance of allergic reaction/irritation use patch test first by applying a small amount to the inside of your wrist and wait a couple hours before drenching your face in it! If you have a reaction, rinse it off immediately and discontinue use. Also organic ingredients can lower your chance of skin irritation by pesticides or chemicals.

Honey-Avocado Face Mask



Berry Mask
Berries are often referred to as a “superfood” because they are packed with antioxidants (protects your cells against free radicals) and phytoflavinoids (compounds that protect our bodies from stress). Basically these properties will smooth out fine lines and improve skin’s elasticity. Berries also include fatty acids which help soothe inflammation and hydrate and soften skin.
Ingredients:
Directions:
In a blender, mix yogurt and honey until combined. Add mixed berries and lemon juice (optional) and blend until mixed.
Apply mixture to freshly cleansed face. Leave on for 10-15 min. (try to control yourself…dont lick the mask off your face, we know it smells yummy!), rinse face with lukewarm water.

Cucumber Mask
Cucumbers have long been used as a remedy for puffy eyes. They contain antioxidants that help reduce irritation and the cold reduces puffiness.
Cucumber is high in antioxidant vitamin C and caffeic acid which provides cool, calming relief for inflammation and irritation. Cucumber also has a high water content and the peel contains silica, which is know to help fight sag to firm skin and improve elasticity.
Ingredients:
½ cucumber, peel on
2 Tablespoons plain yogurt
Directions:
Puree cucumber in a blender. Add yogurt and blend until combined. Apply mask to clean face and leave on for 10-15 min., rinse with warm water.
